OUR GIRLS MUST FLOW IN DIGNITY AND CONFIDENCE -- VERONICA OBEMAH

  Madam Veronica Obemah, Girls Education Officer for Asokwa municipal Assembly, GES and Founder of Edufua Empowerment Foundation has called on the need to educate, support and empower women and Girls with the resources needed to manage their periods in dignity and confidence.   She said this at this year’s International Menstrual Hygiene Day Celebration held yesterday may 29, at Aprabo MA JHS, Kumasi – Ghana. The Celebration themed “Together for a period friendly world” was organized by the Asokwa Municipal Assembly of the Ghana Education Service in partnership with Edufua Empowerment foundation.  The colorful celebration saw the schooling of pupils on reusable pads and its benefits. They were exposed to some important hygiene practices and the need to pay attention to their menstrual lives.
