OUR GIRLS MUST FLOW IN DIGNITY AND CONFIDENCE -- VERONICA OBEMAH
As the world prepares to mark International Menstrual Hygiene Day, the Founder of Edufua Empowerment Foundation has emphasized the importance of promoting menstrual hygiene and dignity among girls. In a statement ahead of tonight's virtual discussions on menstrual hygiene, the Foundation's Founder said, "Our girls must flow in dignity and confidence. It's crucial we break the stigma surrounding menstruation and provide them with the necessary knowledge, support, and resources to manage their periods safely and hygienically."
This Year, Edufua Empowerment Foundation has partnered with CouldYou, a US-based non-profit organization, to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene and promote the use of menstrual cups. The virtual event aims to raise awareness on menstrual health, focusing on the benefits and use of menstrual cups. The discussions will feature expert insights, personal stories, and practical tips on managing menstruation with dignity and confidence.
By promoting menstrual hygiene and dignity, Edufua Empowerment Foundation and partners hope to create a supportive environment where girls can thrive and reach their full potential.
